Villa Serena Event Facility is located in the Metro Atlanta/North Georgia area on 100 wooded acres overlooking a large lake 6 miles North of I-20 on Ga. 138 on the way to Monroe.  Here, the atmosphere is tranquil, with song birds, hoot owls and crickets the only noise in the vicinity.  Nancy and Denton Smith have owned Villa Serena for the past 12 years and have made many improvements to the house and grounds.  Nancy has decorated the European Villa with exquisite taste; there is a magnificent wrought iron floating staircase and a baby grand piano for your use.  The extensive landscaping reflects the creation of spaces perfect for the rehearsal dinner, outdoor garden wedding ceremony and reception, social party, holiday, anniversary and birthday parties, charity events, international embassy events and corporate meetings.  The staff at Villa Serena can deliver turn-key event packages, or share their preferred vendor list with you.  Of course, you are welcome to bring whatever vendor you wish, as long as they have the proper licensing and insurance.  

Nancy and Denton Smith are originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and attended LSU.  Nancy Smith has extensive real estate experience and holds many properties primarily in the Monroe, Georgia area.  She has renovated many historical buildings, helping to preserve pieces of our valuable Georgia history.  Elegant Southern outdoor country daytime or evening weddings and events are a specialty at Villa Serena. 

Villa Serena is an excellent alternative to a hotel ballroom for wedding receptions, corporate parties or business retreats.  This site offers extensive grounds that provide privacy.  The elegance and ambiance of the mansion and grounds place this venue in the tiny minority of must book locations in the Metro Atlanta area.  

Villa Serena has a lovely room available to the bride and her bridesmaids to dress.  There is a catering kitchen on site and your rental fee includes 60" round tables, rectangular tables in several sizes, hi-boys and white chairs.  If you need a tent, the staff can guide you to a rental company.  Villa Serena's grounds are available seven (7) days a week for business meetings, retreats, conferences, social parties, charity functions, birthday's anniversaries, class reunions, weddings, corporate parties, bridal showers/luncheons, wine tastings, Christmas parties, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Sweet 16 parties, whatever you have in mind.
